The company estimates over 75,000 new Web logs are created each day.
Blog creation is one part of the equation, continued posting is
another. About 19.4 million bloggers (55 percent) still maintain
their blogs with new posts after three months of bloggzing. Sifry
estimates that three months prior to pulling the data, the rate of
bloggers who continue to maintain their blog after three months was
about 50.5 percent or 13.7 million bloggers. While not all bloggers
write regularly, about 3.9 million update their blogs at least
weekly.
